GAZİANTEP TOURISM POTENTIAL

Gaziantep is one of the earliest settlements on earth and excavations have started to prove this.

Promoting th historical and cultural values of our city will contribute tramendously to the industrial and commercial areas in Gaziantep.

Our Governor Mr. Muammer Güler has been working hard to draw the attention of people around th world to Gaziantep.

Some of the historic places in Gaziantep are;

• Historical mosques, churches and sinagogues,

• Tumbs of holy people of İslam and tomb of the prophet Yoush.

• The Gaziantep Fortreşs.

• Duluk remnants from early ages.

• Remnants from Late Roman Byzantine and Islam eras in Zeugma (Belkıs) .

• Hromgla at the banks of Euphrates.

Hromgla has been reqlected for many years but it is a very important place for Christian people.

We think that it is our mission to make the potential of the region known by everyone throughout the world as they are the heritage of the world, It is the right of every mankind to be possessed of information about the wonders of the ancient world.

We would like to invite you to the Mesopotamia where is the center of the humankind and birth point of the civilizations. Hromgla where St. John wrote the drafts of The New Testament, The first church of Christianity - Antakya St. Pierre Church, Ur, Harran; Euphrates, Karkamış, Hittite lands, Prophet Abraham's lands are the places that certainly have to be seen.

We, as the women members of the Gaziantep Motherland Party, invite you to Hromgla where you will shiver with its aWesome look. You will share the feelings that St. John f elt once when he duplicated the New Testament in his room at the end of the secret corridor which can be reached through the spiral well.
